L.I.L.A.C (Lesbians Inspiring Life After Cancer) is a new support and social group, supported by Macmillan, which meets at the Lesbian Community Project in Manchester.  Lesbians who have experienced any type of cancer are welcome to attend. It is an informal, women only group. The venue is accessible and alcohol-free. It is primarily a peer support and social group but will signpost women to other related organisations as required.  The objectives of the group are:

To create opportunities for connection among lesbians with cancer via support networks

To provide activities that focus on wellness, not just cancer.

To establish support networks for those caring for lesbians with cancer

Provision of information resources for lesbians with cancer, their partners and carers
